Meet Matthew Federici, founder and CEO of Fed’s Foodz. A fourth-generation member of the established Freehold, NJ, family, Matthew grew up immersed in the food and beverage industry, surrounded by almost the entire family, especially his father, David, and mother, Lauren, both of whom worked their entire careers inside the same restaurant. Determined to expand his family’s well-known pizza brand, he earned a degree in hospitality management from Cornell University.

In 2022, Matthew took over Frankie Feds located on Route 33 in Freehold Township which was founded by his uncle and aunt, Frank A. Federici III and Mary Lynn Federici. Leading an established business allowed him to develop a new growth strategy for the company, including expanding on the existing frozen pizza line. Recognizing broader market potential, Matthew brought Fed’s Foodz to life. This unique brand is now available in local stores, with a direct-to-consumer option on the way. Through Fed’s Foodz, people can enjoy a taste of classic Fed's flavors right at home.
